Still it’ is natural to want to do everything you can to ensure that the wound heals well enough and to have minimum scar mark. Most C-section scars heal nicely leaving only a faint line just above the pubic hair line that's easily covered up by clothing underwear and bathing suits.The average stay in hospital after a caesarean is around 3 days.You may be able to go home sooner than this if both you and your baby are well.during your hospital stay you will be receiving painkillers to reduce any discomfort you have regular close contact with your baby and can start breastfeeding , Staff is there to encourage to get you out of bed and let you move around as soon as possible.you can eat and drink as soon as you feel hungry or thirsty. your wound (scar mark) will be covered with a sterile dressing for at least 24 hours. Your doctor will advice you post partum care and the suitable medication(painkillers).
